IMAD is a pioneering and reference institution in home care in the canton of Geneva. It provides care, support, prevention and health promotion services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, to more than 18,000 patients of all ages, 25% of whom are under 65 years old.
Socio-educational Assistant (CFC ASE) for IEPA (building on the right bank) / 80% / Permanent contract
For its buildings with supervision for elderly people (IEPA).
These include independent apartments, where elderly people are full tenants, as well as common areas for various recreational activities, allowing them to remain autonomous in a secure environment.
Your missions and responsibilities
- Welcome and support tenants in carrying out daily life activities
- Ensure the well-being of tenants, promote the maintenance of autonomy while respecting personal and social needs
- Identify the tenant's needs regarding the organisation of their daily life
- Propose and organise activities encouraging tenant participation
- Observe and report to the social manager any changes in tenants’ health status as well as any changes in their situation
- Contribute to the smooth running of the dining room, perform various administrative and housekeeping tasks
- Ensure the safety of the building and tenants.
Qualifications
- CFC as socio-educational assistant (CFC-ASE) or equivalent training
- Minimum three years of professional experience in the profession, particularly in organising activities
- Good knowledge of the Geneva care network
- Friendly and good interpersonal skills
- Experience with elderly people or interest in this field
- Fluent spoken and written French
- Versatility, organisation, autonomy
- Good command of office tools (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
