Senior Application Developer (m/f/d)
As a Senior Application Developer, you are responsible for the design, development and
maintenance of software applications that translate business requirements into robust, high-performance
and user-friendly solutions.
Your tasks:
• Analyse business and technical requirements and develop
solution concepts in close coordination with business units and stakeholders
• Design and implement applications or application components based on
modern technologies and established development standards
• Conduct unit, integration and system tests and ensure
software quality through test automation and code reviews
• Maintain, further develop and optimise existing applications
regarding performance, stability and security
• Analyse and resolve disruptions and errors (3rd-level support) as well as
sustainable root cause analysis
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture, design and operational manuals
• Work closely with project management, quality assurance, operations and
possibly external service providers throughout the entire software lifecycle
Your profile:
• Completed studies in (business) computer science, training in the IT sector (e.g. computer scientist EFZ specialising in application development) or a
comparable qualification.
• Solid programming skills in at least one modern
programming language as well as experience with common frameworks and
development environments.
• Confident handling of relational databases and basic understanding of
software architectures and interface technologies (e.g. REST)
• Experience in structured software development methodologies (e.g. Agile,
Scrum) and in the use of version control systems
• Strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking, high
quality standards for your own code as well as enjoyment of cross-team
collaboration
