To strengthen our Business Unit "Sapphire", we are looking for a:



Sector Manager



Responsibilities:

  • Organise, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the production workshop, ensuring compliance with quality, deadlines and productivity objectives;
  • Ensure close management that promotes motivation, skills development and team cohesion, while strictly adhering to company standards and requirements.

Duties:

  • Manage the individual and collective performance of a team (time and absence management, performance evaluation, recognition of achievements, recruitment, correction, personal development, initiative and responsibility);
  • Organise and allocate work within the team according to priorities, skills and available production capacities;
  • Ensure adherence to production schedules and deadlines;
  • Ensure respect of lead times for customer satisfaction by managing the work orders of all products on their line in collaboration with scheduling;
  • Create and manage daily and medium-term staffing plans;
  • Participate in upstream discussions regarding equipment choices and project management for their line;
  • Ensure the transmission of instructions, monitoring of objectives and technical support for employees;
  • Actively relay messages and commitments from management, lead organisational and performance rituals and ensure the application of standards;
  • Control the conformity of operations to quality requirements (dimensions, aesthetics, finishes, etc.) and ensure compliance with procedures;
  • Lead corrective and preventive actions in relation to non-conformities;
  • Work closely with quality, logistics, maintenance and methods departments to resolve production issues;
  • Ensure first-level maintenance follow-up;
  • Identify and report training, tools, equipment or resource needs;
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement actions (5S, Lean, waste reduction, flow optimisation, etc.);
  • Ensure the safety of personnel, compliance with instructions and maintenance of equipment in good condition;

Profile:

  • Basic technical training (CFC in Mechanics, Micromechanics or equivalent);
  • Proven experience in a similar position for several years in an industrial environment;
  • Training and experience in team management;
  • Good knowledge of production processes and constraints;
  • Familiarity with production monitoring tools and performance indicators;
  • Proficiency in ERP tools and basic office software (Excel, Word);
  • Mastery of continuous improvement tools and methods (5S, Lean, problem solving, Kaizen);
  • Ability to interpret plans and manufacturing sequences;
  • Close leadership, sense of responsibility and hands-on approach;
  • Organisation, rigour and ability to manage priorities;
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to motivate and unite a team;
  • Analytical mindset and solution-oriented;
  • Responsiveness and adaptability in a high-quality requirement environment.
