We are recruiting for our agency in the canton of Vaud, an Operations Manager.
Operations Manager Vaud Agency
The Operations Manager is responsible for a portfolio of contracts, in charge of technical, financial, health, safety, environmental and contractual management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial:
- Identifies opportunities for diversification and increase of contractual services.
- Responsible for the profitability of contracts in their sector and assumes financial management, supported by the Department Manager.
Purchasing:
- Selects suppliers and subcontractors and places orders in compliance with the purchasing process and signing rules.
Contract and team management:
- Supervises, leads and develops the skills of their technicians and site manager.
- Provides technical support to technicians.
- Organises interventions and manages equipment. Verifies the application of maintenance plans via the CMMS.
- Manages subcontracting and cross-functional services in their sector.
- Reports activity follow-up to their direct manager.
- Reports to the client on contract execution and ensures their satisfaction.
- Proactive: proposes any suggestions likely to improve performance, operations, customer service and H.S.E.
- Main client contact: guarantees coordination with the company’s various specialised technical services to their clients.
- Ensures contract follow-up with an Energy Efficiency focus.
Skills and personal qualities:
- Perfect mastery of at least two techniques (heating, ventilation, hydraulics, sanitary) and their scope.
- Very good organisational skills.
- Adapts easily to complex situations.
- Comfortable with IT tools.
- Good communicator, will maintain good relationships with internal and external clients and colleagues.
- Service-oriented.
- Versatile.
Quality:
- Procedures compliance: Respects and enforces company procedures concerning their activity.
- Non-conformities: reports findings, handles non-conformities related to their contracts. Drives corrective and/or preventive actions to be implemented and verifies their effectiveness.
- Customer complaints: Responsible for resolving client complaints regarding their contracts.
