Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic
We are looking for a travelling HGV/plant mechanic to join our client. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment on various sites, thus ensuring their proper functioning and availability for our clients. This position requires great autonomy and a strong sense of customer service.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the After-Sales Service Manager, you will ensure the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of machinery/trucks on site.
Daily travel within the cantons of Geneva
Your main tasks:
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical or electronic faults
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance operations
- Write intervention reports and ensure administrative follow-up
- Manage your spare parts stock in the workshop vehicle
Profile sought
- Technical training in mechanics, electromechanics
- Mastery of technical English (a plus)
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position, ideally with construction, agricultural machinery or heavy goods vehicles
- Autonomy, rigour, customer service orientation
- Driving licence B essential (company vehicle provided)
