Mechanic in Construction Machinery / Heavy Goods Vehicles, 100%, (M/F)

Since 1979, Sotrag SA has been active in the fields of demolition, earthworks, gravel quarrying, as well as mineral material recycling. With more than 115 employees, we have a modern and varied fleet of machines, constantly maintained and developed to meet the demands of our sites. To strengthen our workshop in Etoy, we are looking for a motivated mechanic passionate about construction machinery and heavy goods vehicles.

What you will accomplish:

You will work on a varied fleet of machines ranging from 2 to 90 tonnes, including hydraulic excavators, loaders, dump trucks, special installations, trucks and semi-trailers. Your main tasks will be:

• Ensuring the maintenance and monitoring of preventive maintenance of the machine fleet and heavy goods vehicles.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical problems on a variety of construction machines such as hydraulic excavators, wheeled loaders, bulldozers, dump trucks, etc., and heavy goods vehicles.
• Reading and interpreting various electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
• Carrying out necessary repairs on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components of vehicles.
• Providing a professional solution, ensuring the safety and availability of our machines.

Your profile:

• Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a mechanic in construction machinery, agricultural or heavy goods vehicles or an equivalent qualification required
• Category B driving licence mandatory
• Autonomy, rigour, analytical mind, sense of responsibility and excellent communication skills
