The Barec Group, a long-established family business and one of the largest providers of complete recycling solutions in Switzerland, is looking for one or more at several of its sites:
Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver
We are seeking two employees, one for our Ecublens site and one for our Satigny site, who in addition to being HGV drivers will have general labourer duties.
Your main tasks:
Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver:
- Collection of goods from our customers.
- Loading and unloading goods using the crane.
- Replacement of pallets and boxes at various clients and return with used materials.
- Weekly cleaning of the vehicle (interior and exterior).
- First-level maintenance, such as checking fluid levels, tyre pressure, wheels, lubrication, etc.
- Inspection and maintenance of the condition of non-mobile equipment provided (containers, cranes, other containers).
Versatile recycling labourer: (Satigny)
- Reception and advising customers.
- Unloading trucks or other client vehicles using a forklift truck (forklift licence required).
- You may be called upon to perform other tasks necessary for the smooth running of the company.
- Compliance with safety rules and ISO standards.
Your profile:
- Experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle driver, proven experience in Switzerland.
- Experience with multi-lift, multi-container systems.
- Experience with semi-trailers and grapples.
- Spoken and written French.
- Category C, CE, C1, C1E driving licences, SDR/ADR, K1 permit or SUVA A crane licence.
- Forklift licence is an advantage.
- Proficient in crane operations.
- Up to date with OACP regulations.
- Able to work on difficult outdoor surfaces.
