The Childhood Service (SDEN) manages the primary school and extracurricular buildings, attended daily by around 12,000 pupils aged 4 to 12 years. It ensures the development of quality extracurricular and out-of-school activities that structure children’s social life outside school hours, such as school canteens, toy libraries, Discovery Workshops and Mobile Workshops. The SDEN is also responsible for safety on the way to school and organises the celebrations and events that punctuate the school year. To complete its team, the SDEN is looking for
Auxiliary School Crossing Patrol Officers at 28%
Your mission and responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of pupils when crossing the road near primary and nursery schools, at predefined locations.
- Contribute to pupils’ road safety education during daily crossings as well as through coaching sessions.
- Participate in awareness and presentation sessions in 1st and 2nd year classes.
Your profile
- Master the rules of the road.
- Have oral French proficiency at B2 level.
- Demonstrate calmness and pedagogy, manage stress effectively, be punctual and work outdoors, including in sometimes difficult weather conditions.
- Work well in a team and collaborate effectively.
