Microsoft Security Consultant / Patching & Vulnerabilities (f/m/d)

On behalf of our client, a private bank in Geneva, we are looking for a Microsoft Security Consultant / Patching & Vulnerabilities (f/m/d) responsible for strengthening the Microsoft vulnerability management process by improving patch tracking and coordination between security, infrastructure, and application teams.
Your mission
- Analyse vulnerability reports (CVE) and identify the affected Microsoft servers and components.
- Investigate the causes of non-deployment of Microsoft patches on certain machines and document the blockages.
- Coordinate and lead remediation actions with infrastructure teams, SCCM/MECM, Application Owners, and subsidiaries.
- Monitor the proper functioning of tools (notably SCCM/MECM) and adherence to patch management processes, then propose improvements.
- Produce tracking reports with the Security team and manage action plans until resolution.
Your profile
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Microsoft environments and patch management in a corporate context.
- Strong Microsoft expertise: Windows Server, patch cycle, SCCM/MECM, and associated deployment practices.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft vulnerabilities, CVEs, and remediation principles (prioritisation, criticality, deadlines).
- Proven ability to analyse, structure, and monitor action plans with multiple stakeholders (security, infra, application).
- Operational profile focused on management: facilitates and coordinates remediation without directly performing patching operations.
