The position is attached to the Department of Clinical Neurosciences. This department provides care to patients of all ages, children and adults, suffering from neurosurgical, neurological, ophthalmological, and otorhinolaryngological conditions. Care is adapted to the needs and difficulties of the patient, from the most acute sectors (intermediate care units) to rehabilitation sectors (neurorehabilitation).

The department's objective is to guide patients towards regaining their autonomy through education, support, and outpatient follow-up. It ensures the operation of patients as well as their support, to promote early return home. In the same spirit, outpatient care is also prioritised and surgical activity optimised to facilitate access to care within a reasonable timeframe.

The Neurology Department manages, diagnostically and therapeutically, patients suffering from neurological conditions, often in collaboration with other departments such as neuroradiology, neurosurgery, neurorehabilitation, and internal medicine specialty services.
