This position is aimed at a hands-on person who values both team management and operational work, and who wishes to commit long-term to the development of a catering service undergoing significant growth.
Our catering service is looking for a passionate, unifying and committed Head Chef or Sous Chef, ready to take on a new challenge within a dynamic company where quality, respect for the product and team spirit are at the heart of our success.
Specialising in organising receptions, banquets, corporate events and bespoke services, we create refined and creative cuisine where every detail matters. To strengthen our team, composed of several collaborators, we are seeking a personality capable of combining operational excellence, leadership and organisational skills.
Head Chef / Sous Chef
Your mission
A true pillar of the kitchen, you participate in the daily organisation of production and ensure the smooth running of the brigade. You supervise, support and motivate the teams to guarantee a high level of quality and consistency in the services provided.
In collaboration with management, you contribute to work organisation, order and stock management, cost control, as well as the strict application of hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
You also take part in the preparation and dispatch of events of all sizes, ensuring deadlines are met, the quality of services, and the proper coordination of teams during events. Through your exemplary conduct, presence on the ground and sense of responsibility, you actively contribute to customer satisfaction and the development of our catering activity.
Your profile
- Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a cook or equivalent training
- Proven experience as Head Chef, Sous Chef or experienced chef de partie wishing to progress
- Excellent organisational skills and sense of priorities
- Natural leadership and ability to manage a large brigade
- Stress resilience and ability to work in a demanding environment
- Flexible and available, with the ability to adapt to variable hours depending on activity and events
- Sense of responsibility and commitment to quality workmanship
- Mastery of HACCP standards
- Category B driving licence is an advantage
- Very good command of French
