With more than 3,900 inhabitants, Riddes is a dynamic municipality, constantly developing. Its territory extends from the Rhône plain to the La Tzoumaz resort, which is experiencing significant growth. Daily, as well as through major projects, authorities and municipal staff work together for the well-being of the Riddes population.
To complete its Public Works team, the Municipality of Riddes is looking for a:
Versatile Municipal Employee
Main duties:
- Maintenance of the municipal road network including salting and snow clearing
- Maintenance of the wastewater, irrigation networks and watercourses
- Maintenance of public green spaces and the cemetery
- Maintenance of footpaths and leisure mobility routes
- Weeding and mowing of municipal plots
- Keeping the village clean
- Setting up municipal events
- Participation in the on-call service (summer and winter)
- Substitution at the wastewater treatment plant (STEP)
Your assets:
- Holder of a federal certificate of capacity (CFC) as a mason, landscaper or similar
- Holder of the FES certificate or willing to train
- Driving licence essential - trailer licence a plus
- Flexibility regarding working hours (evenings and weekends)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organised, rigorous and solution-oriented
- Versatile
- Interest in public service
