Job DescriptionYour role:
Within a small team, you will work across a full scope combining banking accounting and regulatory reporting, with direct involvement in the production of financial and prudential data. This position offers real visibility and strong autonomy in an environment where quality of work is essential.
Your responsibilities:
- Maintaining general banking accounting (general ledger, entries, controls)
- Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Preparing financial statements according to current Swiss standards
- Producing and submitting regulatory reports to the BNS via FIRE (required)
- Controlling and analysing balance sheet positions and reconciliations
- Participating in monitoring regulatory ratios and prudential indicators
- Contributing to internal and external audits
- Interacting with internal teams (operations, risk, compliance)
- Actively participating in process improvement and tool optimisation

Your profile:
- Training in accounting, finance, or equivalent field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in banking accounting in Switzerland
- Proven experience in regulatory reporting (BNS / FINMA)
- Mandatory mastery of BNS reporting via FIRE
- Very good command of Excel and common IT tools
- Fluent French, good professional level of English
- Reliable, rigorous, autonomous, and proactive personality
- Comfortable in a demanding and mid-sized environment
- Valid Swiss work permit or eligibility to work in Switzerland
- Residence in Switzerland or in a border area close to Geneva (cross-border commuters accepted)
- 100% position - full availability required
- Fully on-site position (no remote work)
