If the answer is yes, we would like to speak with you. We are seeking a passionate professional holding a CFC in automation or a diploma as an ES technician in industrial systems and automation or an equivalent qualification, with solid professional experience in an industrial environment. You know how to use common IT tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and have good knowledge of programmable logic controllers (Siemens S7, TIA Portal, Simotion, Beckhoff) and knowledge of vision systems (Cognex, Keyence).

After a training period within our Electrical Maintenance department, located in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, your tasks will mainly consist of troubleshooting, maintaining and improving the electrotechnical part of production equipment to meet safety, health, environmental, quality and productivity objectives.

• Promote and apply PMI safety, health and environmental rules, take necessary actions to improve them and achieve objectives, in order to prevent accidents, reduce environmental impacts and achieve a Safety culture.
• Maintain the proper functioning and appropriate settings of instrumentation elements to ensure product quality according to PMI standards. Take necessary actions to continuously improve the quality of our products to meet customer requirements.

• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose and apply a solution to minimise production downtime. Provide necessary information to concerned persons to ensure optimal follow-up of encountered problems, share experiences and knowledge to continuously increase skills.

• Perform maintenance operations on production equipment to minimise the risk of breakdowns and ensure the proper functioning of safety elements.

• Keep documentation, diagrams and archives of machine parameters or programmes up to date to ensure effective diagnosis and troubleshooting.

• Implement modifications and improvements on production equipment that bring gains in safety, quality or efficiency. Provide necessary support to various sectors/departments to ensure smooth project execution.

• Continuously advise and assist members of different sectors to increase everyone’s skills to be effective during troubleshooting.

Must Have:
• Holder of a CFC in automation or a diploma as an ES technician in industrial systems and automation or an equivalent qualification, with solid professional experience in an industrial environment.
• You know how to use common IT tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and have good knowledge of programmable logic controllers (Siemens S7, TIA Portal, Simotion, Beckhoff) and knowledge of vision systems (Cognex, Keyence).
• You speak French (knowledge of English would be an asset).
