We are recruiting, on behalf of our client, a Director of Catering - Executive Chef, to oversee a strategic scope encompassing catering, retail, and service activities, in a dynamic and high-traffic environment.
This role combines significant human, operational, and financial challenges, with direct responsibility for service quality, economic performance, and team development.
Your role
Reporting to management, you ensure the overall management of your area of activity, with both a strategic and operational vision.
You are responsible for the smooth daily operation of activities, while leading reflections related to development, continuous improvement, and the evolution of the offer.
Your role also involves uniting teams around common objectives, structuring the organisation, and ensuring a coherent and high-quality customer experience.
Your daily tasks
You supervise operations related to catering and commercial activities, with particular attention to service quality, user satisfaction, and activity performance.
You support local managers and supervisors in daily management, skills development, and achieving objectives.
You manage financial and operational indicators, monitor budgets, analyse performance, and identify optimisation levers.
You actively participate in transformation and continuous improvement projects, whether concerning the offer, processes, tools, or organisation.
You work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and effective execution of projects and operations.
Your profile
You have proven experience in managing multi-site or multi-unit activities, ideally in catering, retail, hospitality, or services.
You are comfortable managing large teams and can operate in complex environments involving numerous stakeholders.
You combine strategic vision with hands-on proximity, with a strong ability to structure, unite, and develop organisations.
Your leadership is based on your ability to communicate, make decisions, and support change.
You are recognised for your service mindset, results orientation, and ability to simultaneously manage human, financial, and operational challenges.
