As part of the optimisation of the operating theatres, the HUG are creating an executive management of the operating theatres (DBO) directly attached to the Deputy General Management.
This new centralised structure will be entirely dedicated to the management of the operating theatres with the aim of strengthening governance, interprofessional synergies, optimising patient care and processes, while supporting innovation and research.
The operating theatres consist of 8 modern theatres equipped with a state-of-the-art technical platform representing nearly 42 intervention rooms. Designed to offer optimal patient care 24 hours a day. Each year, more than 30,000 interventions are performed by 1,500 dedicated professionals. These specialists cover all surgical disciplines, such as gynaecology-obstetrics, ENT, maxillofacial, aesthetic, reconstructive, cardiac, vascular, visceral, urological, orthopaedic, trauma, hand, neurosurgery, ophthalmology and paediatrics, including robotic surgery.
In this cross-functional role, you collaborate with the operating theatres management, in connection with other business and support departments of the HUG.
Your mission is to collect, formalise and analyse data related to the activity of the operating theatre in all its dimensions, with the aim of optimising its performance and efficiency.
To do this, you create and maintain management dashboards for the DBO.
You contribute to monitoring technological developments in the field of Data.
You document information flows, prepare and test Dashboards with end users.
You participate in the mapping of the DBO data.
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent diploma. You master the principles of Business Intelligence and data integration techniques.
You also have strong skills in SQL, Python to query relational and Big Data databases.
You master reporting tools (QlickView/Qlicksense) to transform figures into graphics understandable by business users.
You demonstrate an analytical mind and a rigorous method, know how to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams, and show good stress resistance. You have a genuine interest in the hospital sector and its challenges.
