FTG - Façades Techniques SA, part of the Viteos group, is the specialist in ventilated façades in French-speaking Switzerland. Based in Mont-sur-Lausanne, the company designs, plans and executes building envelopes for new construction, renovation and transformation projects, alongside architects, project owners, developers and general contractors active in the Lake Geneva region and throughout the French-speaking territory.

With a technical and administrative team of about twenty specialised collaborators — experts, draftsmen and qualified fitters — FTG fosters a family spirit, a sense of quality and a commitment to long-term partnership with its clients.

As part of its development and governance structuring, FTG is recruiting its future Commercial, Administrative & Financial Director (CAFD) in co-management with the current Technical Director.



Commercial Director


You will ensure, in co-management with the Technical Director, the overall management of the company in its commercial, administrative, financial and HR aspects. You are responsible for the sustainable growth of the company, its profitability and customer satisfaction, while ensuring good internal governance.

Co-management & governance

  • Implement the strategy previously approved by the Board of Directors: operational deployment, allocation of human, material and financial resources.
  • Conduct the company’s strategic analysis (SWOT) and propose directions for improving services and performance.
  • Lead management meetings, represent the company to the Board.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.

Commercial development & prospecting

  • Develop FTG’s reputation in French-speaking Switzerland and acquire new clients: architects, project owners, developers, general contractors.
  • Structure, present and negotiate offers; retain the existing portfolio through regular follow-up and account reviews.
  • Manage prospecting activities (trade fairs, networks, prescribers) and digital presence (website, LinkedIn, marketing materials).
  • Ensure competitive and sector monitoring: façade trends, energy standards, innovations.

Tenders & costing

  • Manage the complete tender process exceeding CHF 100,000: receipt, analysis, costing, negotiation, submission within deadlines.
  • Prepare cost estimates, margins and cost prices; negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors; supervise off-site purchases.
  • Set up and manage a structured sales pipeline (offer dashboard).
  • Provide a technical interface in the façade domain.

Financial management & controlling

  • Establish, manage and control operating and investment budgets; analyse monthly financial dashboards (turnover, margins, cash flow, DSO).
  • Use Abacus or another ERP for financial control of projects, cost tracking and supplier price analysis.
  • Verify annual financial reports intended for the Board and analyse budget/actual variances.
  • Manage the company’s profit and loss account according to business activity.
  • Propose directions, implement actions and means to improve services.

Administration & human resources

  • Supervise HR processes with your HR partner: recruitment, integration, annual reviews, training, contract management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal regulations, salary policy and applicable collective labour agreements.
  • Bear overall responsibility and manage the company’s HR domain (support from Viteos).

Technical support & coordination

  • Define technical concepts in the pre-project phase, in coordination with the Technical Director.
  • Respond to client technical requests during the commercial phase and participate in site meetings if necessary.
  • Ensure monitoring of applicable standards and certifications: SIA, AEAI, Minergie.

Education

  • Higher education (University of Applied Sciences, University of Teacher Education, Bachelor or Master) in business management, economics, building technology or related field.
  • Advantage: Technician ES in work planning/building technology, or Building Envelope Designer.
  • Additional training in financial management or an MBA is appreciated.

Experience

  • 5 to 10 years of proven experience in a similar role: commercial development, offer management, project management.
  • Experience in a management or leadership position with a turnover exceeding CHF 5-15 million.
  • Management of small teams (5 to 30 people).
  • Proven mastery of SME financial management: budgeting, cash flow, reporting.

Technical & sector knowledge

  • Good knowledge of the construction market and building envelope in French-speaking Switzerland.
  • Swiss policy on energy, environment and construction standards (SIA, AEAI, Minergie).
  • Knowledge of the regional socio-political and economic fabric, as well as the target clientele (architects, project owners, developers, general contractors).
  • Mastery of one or more ERP/CRM systems; advanced proficiency in the Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint).

Languages

  • French: native speaker or C2 level (essential).
  • German or English: professional level appreciated.
