The nursing management embodies the authority in matters of care. Its mission is to guarantee the quality and safety of care within the establishment. As such, the nursing director has oversight of all care activities (nursing and various health professionals). To fulfil this mission, it relies on three centres of expertise: Professional Practices, Interprofessionality, and Transformation in Care.

Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in the Field of Wounds and Healing - 20%

The clinical specialists attached to the clinical expertise and professional practices centre of the Nursing Directorate form a team of expert professionals in various fields of care and contribute through their actions to the improvement of practices and the quality of care provided to patients within the institution. They are grouped by clinical specialty or programme such as the wounds and healing programme.

At the Geneva University Hospitals, the wounds and healing programme is attached to the clinical expertise and professional practices centre of the Nursing Directorate. This programme has three objectives: to reduce the prevalence of pressure ulcers within the institution, to develop the expertise of care teams in wound and healing management, and to promote the development, dissemination, and implementation of recommendations, protocols, and clinical practices based on evidence.

To date, the team consists of a responsible physician, a researcher, two clinical specialist nurses, and two specialised nurses. Its members act as consultants and clinical experts for staff as well as patients. The team members ensure the implementation of best practice recommendations and support staff in developing their knowledge and skills in the field of wounds.

The wounds and healing programme, in partnership with the Nursing Directorate, is seeking a physiotherapist capable of performing an expert and clinical leader role in the field of wounds and healing to strengthen its team, directly involved in clinical activity.
