With an annual production capacity of over one million tonnes of cement, Juracime S.A. (Cornaux NE), together with Jura-Cement-Fabriken AG (Wildegg, AG), represents the second largest cement producer in Switzerland. Under the name JURA CEMENT, it is part of the JURA Materials group, which belongs to the international building materials group CRH. Both plants regularly reinvent themselves to become more modern and exemplary, notably by strengthening their contribution to the circular economy.

At the heart of the facilities

There is much to do with us

  • Control and clean the production facilities
  • Ensure routine maintenance of the facilities
  • Maintain buildings, green spaces, access roads and underground networks
  • Control and maintain the machines and tools of the infrastructure department
  • Contribute to the smooth running of cement production
  • Provide on-call service according to established schedule
  • Be part of the overhead crane rotation (which may include Saturdays/Sundays)
  • Specific tasks within the department, adapted according to personal knowledge and skills, such as: greasing (lubrication and oil maintenance of the entire plant's installations), heritage (maintenance of green spaces/vehicles, snow removal), fuel (management of fuel flows to the kiln and the plant boiler), grab overhead crane (feeding components for cement production), management and reception of trucks for the cement process

How to get involved with us

Professional profile:

  • Federal VET diploma in a technical field (sanitary, mechanical, metal construction, bricklayer) or equivalent qualification
  • French: native or fluent
  • German: an advantage
  • MS Office: good knowledge
  • Training/permit for machine operator/aerial work platform/forklift/working at height: a plus
Personal profile:
  • Initiative, autonomy and responsibility
  • Entrepreneurial and team spirit
  • Able to communicate
  • Physical endurance and great flexibility (weekend work and occasional night work)
  • Reside within a maximum of 30 minutes from Cornaux/NE for on-call service
