Your future environment

We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, a leading hospital institution located in the Lausanne region, within its department of medicine.

You will work in acute care units such as:

  • acute internal medicine,
  • infectious diseases,
  • endocrinology
  • pneumology.

The environment is characterised by:

  • comprehensive care of adult patients, often in situations of fragility or loss of autonomy,
  • a significant clinical diversity,
  • close collaboration with nursing and interprofessional teams,
  • high standards in terms of quality, safety and respect for the person being cared for.

Your main responsibilities

  • Support patients in daily life activities (hygiene, nutrition, mobilisation)

  • Participate in basic care according to the directives of the care team
  • Ensure the comfort, dignity and safety of patients
  • Observe the general condition of patients and relay relevant information to the nursing team
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and suitable environment
  • Strictly apply hygiene, prevention and safety standards
  • Participate in team dynamics and the smooth running of service activities

Required skills and qualifications

  • Training as a care assistant or equivalent recognised qualification
  • Experience in a hospital or institutional care setting, ideally in acute care or medicine, of at least one year in Switzerland or two years within the EU.
  • Interest in caring for patients with complex needs
  • Good interpersonal skills, empathy and respect for the person
  • Reliability, team spirit and adaptability
  • Autonomy and sense of responsibility
