For our client based in Geneva, we are actively seeking a buyer!

Your mission:

  • Manage and ensure the follow-up of purchase files as well as supplier contracts
  • Participate in the management of tenders, consultations and supplier negotiations
  • Analyse internal needs and prepare orders, purchase orders and associated contracts
  • Ensure the administrative follow-up of purchases (invoicing, compliance, respect of deadlines, dispute management)
  • Update supplier databases and monitor performance indicators
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to guarantee quality, costs and deadlines
  • Prepare and format reports, tracking tables and presentations related to purchasing activities

Your profile:

  • Holder of a commercial employee CFC, a federal buyer certificate or equivalent training
  • Fluent in French (spoken and written); a good level of English is an asset
  • Proven experience in purchasing or in an administrative role related to purchasing
  • Experience in the construction or building sector would be a valued asset
  • Good negotiation, analysis and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable with IT tools, office software and ideally an ERP
