This management position consists of defining and implementing the strategy for library and archive services within a top-tier institution. It combines leadership, digital transformation, and excellence to strengthen research support and align services with institutional priorities. The client is a higher education and research institution of renown, recognized for its excellence. Reporting to an executive management team, the person in charge leads the development and management of library, archive, and scientific information services. The position involves supervising a multidisciplinary team and ensuring a high level of performance, innovation, and alignment with institutional objectives.Main responsibilities include:- Define and implement an ambitious and forward-looking strategy for documentary and archive services.- Lead digital transformation projects, particularly around AI, research data management, and information systems.- Ensure the excellence of user services, collections, and infrastructure.- Manage resources, budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance.- Develop strong partnerships with faculties, internal departments, and external partners.- Represent the institution in networks and to management on issues related to scientific publishing and open access.- Promote a culture of innovation and collaboration.The candidate is an experienced leader, capable of steering complex projects and supporting their evolution in academic or research-oriented environments.
