We are looking for an Expert in property damage, liability, and construction for the Chablais region and various missions that you will manage.In your geographic area, you will fully manage the damage files related to property, liability, and construction insurance within the framework of your competencies and in compliance with applicable guidelines and instructions. You will implement technical expertise and collaborate with other specialists (internal and external). You will negotiate settlements and amicable agreements concerning damages and losses with insured parties, claimants, and other insurers. You will take on occasional assignments entrusted to you by the Legal & Complex Cases department in the P&C branches relevant to their area of expertise, carrying out local instruction measures. You will set up and maintain a network of experts and businesses operating in your geographic area. You will contribute to knowledge transfer by providing technical support and participating in the ongoing training of damage experts and internal services. You will contribute to the profitability of the P&C portfolio by actively collaborating with our underwriting services and leveraging our sales network.What makes you unique:You have a commercial employee certification or equivalent, a specialist insurance diploma with federal certification or equivalent, and a legal background is a plus. You have several years of professional experience in managing complex claims (property, liability, and construction). Experience in personal injury claims would be an additional asset. You have the ability to work independently, are stress-resistant, can manage priorities and meet deadlines, and have strong writing skills. You are proficient with standard tools (MS Office). You are fluent in French and have good knowledge of English or German.
