Following the retirement of its current director, the Notre-Dame de Lourdes Institute is seeking its future director.

You are a personality recognised for your integrity, your initiative, and have been successfully committed for several years in the field of specialised education for children with special educational needs. The Notre-Dame de Lourdes Institute welcomes around 70 children (aged 4 to 18) and offers quality educational, schooling, and therapeutic support. A boarding facility complements the provision.Pragmatic, you are looking for a leadership position in which – in collaboration with the Association Committee – you will help develop the Institution.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the Institution with kindness, in a participative manner, intelligently integrating all stakeholders (children, parents, the Institute’s management and staff, the State) as well as all network partners.
• Ensure the governance of the Institute in concert with the Association Committee to which you are accountable in the interest of the children, notably managing human and financial resources.
• Guarantee the mandate and quality of services linking the Institute’s missions to the State’s requirements.
• Contribute to making the Institute a centre of excellence, notably by fostering synergies between the educational, care, and therapeutic teams.
• Promote an internal and external communication policy.

Your profile:

• Holder of a DAS in institutional management or equivalent training, you have an academic background related to specialised pedagogy, with further training in institutional and team management.
• With several years of proven experience in managing a similar structure. Demonstrated knowledge of the Valais and Romandy context in specialised pedagogy.
• Proficiency in both languages (French/German).
• A unifier and capable of developing networked work.
