With over 60 years of experience in the field of sapphire and plastic injection, we have acquired and developed unique and complementary expertise in the production of custom parts. These skills meet our clients' requirements at both technical and aesthetic levels. To strengthen our Plastic department, we are looking for a: Technician in Design - Plastics. Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and update technical plans related to production molds and tools, ensuring their compliance, industrial feasibility, and suitability.- Involve in the development of tools for Plastic activities as well as for the Sapphire BU, closely collaborating with technical and production teams.- Ensure the design of plastic and rubber parts, considering the constraints and specificities of thermoplastics and injection.- Design and model in 3D the molds and tools necessary for the production of parts (Plastic and Sapphire).- Establish detailed plans, assembly plans, and complete technical files for the management and maintenance of tools.- Participate in defining technical solutions in collaboration with methods, production, and quality.- Ensure contributions to and update plans based on product developments, field feedback, or technical changes.- Monitor tool management in relation to internal and external suppliers.- Participate in the development and validation of tools during trial phases.- Ensure compliance with designs and adherence to internal standards.- Manage technical documentation (plans, historical files).- Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams in case of tool-related issues.- Ensure follow-up and proper functioning of a PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), preferably on 3Dx.- Collaborate on the execution, implementation, and monitoring of system processes within the department. Candidate Profile:- CFC completed by a Technician degree or any other equivalent qualification.- Proven experience in a similar position, ideally in an industrial environment, plastics, or microtechnology, or experience as a Molder would be an asset.- Knowledge of molds and tools (injection, compression, or other processes) is highly desired.- Familiarity with technical means for the production and the molds (CNC machining, wire erosion, or sinking).- Experience in high-precision environments (watchmaking, sapphire, plastics, microtechnology) is preferred.- Mastery of SolidWorks for the design of tools and mechanical components.- Good understanding of production processes and industrial constraints.- Ability to design complex mechanical assemblies.- Ability to read and interpret technical plans.- Knowledge of standards and principles of tool design.- Proficient with usual tools and ideally an ERP/PDM system.- Rigor and precision.- Analytical thinking and ability to propose technical solutions.- Capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage ongoing priorities.We offer:- Flexible working hours (the possibility to finish at 3:30 PM from Monday to Friday).- Possibility of remote work.- Vacation: 5 weeks per year.- Salary paid over 13 months with payment to your health insurance fund.- Regular events (summer meals, monthly brunches, sports events, company outings, etc.).- Discounts with various partners (fleet discounts, private sales with prestigious brands, etc.).- A healthy, rewarding, dynamic, and constantly evolving work environment. jid3deda3daen jit0414aen jpiy26aen
