Samvaz SA is a family business active since 1964 in metal machining in Chatel-St-Denis (Fribourg). The company has grown by developing, manufacturing and marketing its own products, such as PIPEX® fasteners, the SAM® formwork system, TERSA® planing shaft solutions and the RALI® planer, which are distributed in Switzerland, Europe and worldwide. The company employs around 140 staff in total. As an important economic player, Samvaz SA also has a social responsibility which it assumes notably with a large photovoltaic park, its heating based on wood waste and subcontracting some operations to sheltered workshops in the region.

To strengthen our locksmithing workshop, we are looking for a
DEPUTY WORKSHOP MANAGER LOCKSMITHING 100% (M/F/D)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure, in collaboration with the workshop manager, the smooth running of the department's daily activities
- Replace the manager during absences, ensuring the good organisation of the workshop, the distribution of work and respect for priorities
- Participate in the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
- Be the manager's liaison with the team and help maintain a positive and collaborative working atmosphere
- Carry out welding of metal parts in black steel and stainless steel using MAG and TIG processes
- Perform bending, drilling and rolling operations as well as other metal shaping work
- Carry out programming work on a welding robot
- Control the quality of the work and ensure compliance with safety standards
YOUR PROFILE
- Holder of a metal constructor CFC or equivalent training
- Proven experience in locksmithing and metal construction
- First successful experience in team management
- Excellent mastery of reading plans and technical documents
- Comfortable with common management and planning IT tools
- Organised, autonomous person with a good sense of responsibility and natural leadership
- Fluent in French, both spoken and written
