With more than 160 professions represented, the University Hospitals of Geneva are a reference institution at the national level. The Finance Department of HUG is responsible for the financial, budgetary, and accounting management of the hospital, the management of tariffs, investment management, development, and maintenance of the business intelligence system. It manages a budget of nearly 2 billion francs, processes and controls over one million supplier invoices and more than one million invoices. It proposes and issues activity reports and dashboards tracking institutional activity and objectives. It is finally responsible for producing all reports submitted to health authorities.Assistant or Deputy Head of Service - 80% to 100%The Revenue Department of the Finance Directorate is looking for the person who will complete the team of the Tariff - Convention Service. Within this team, you will contribute to tariff management and participate in tariff agreements with insurers in the Swiss system. You also assist the head of the service during complex tariff negotiations concerning all of HUG with Swiss insurers; for example, in the areas of acute care, your analytical approach and solutions enable you to prepare relevant financial analyses and medico-economic elements to consider in the context of tariffs. You formulate hypotheses allowing for the development of medical tariffs that take into account the institution's interests and the evolution of medical care policies within the different medical departments. You maintain close relationships with your counterparts in the university hospitals present in Switzerland and conduct benchmarks, thus enabling the Finance Directorate to make informed decisions. With the head of the service, you coordinate the cross-functional activities of the service to ensure the quality of tariff data and participate in the implementation of cross-functional institutional projects for setting up new tariff structures within HUG. You work closely with the medical staff and work to support the financial evolution of their medical practices and the various medical procedures provided. You thus contribute to supporting tariff expertise and financing of care, while ensuring the accuracy and compliance of the processes.In this regard, you participate in the data flow and the resolution of issues related to the data and continuous improvement processes, ensuring that the data is precise, complete and compliant with regulatory standards. You actively contribute to the construction and evolution of the service by providing proposals. You have a master's degree or equivalent, or a postgraduate degree in health economics. Experience in a relevant role is a real asset. You have at least 5 years of experience in a function of expertise and analysis within a large organization with multiple stakeholders. You have developed very good knowledge of hospital financing, social and private insurance (LAMal, LAA, LCA), tariff structures, and data analysis tools. You possess a great ease and openness that allow you to understand the interests and challenges of the different stakeholders. Your skills in negotiation, as well as your constructive approach, make you recognized as a trusted partner capable of finding solutions, and you demonstrate responsiveness and rigor on a daily basis. In addition, you have analytical and synthetic skills, enabling you to highlight the essential aspects of a situation. You propose a service-oriented approach and have a sense of responsibility that allows you to carry out your tasks effectively.
