Deputy DirectorYour missionThe Department of Social Cohesion (DCS) brings together fundamental public policies to preserve and develop harmony and balance within our society. Through its determined action in the fields of culture, sport, integration, and social aid that it manages and delivers, the DCS contributes to consolidating social cohesion and avoiding social ruptures. Within the DCS, the Office of Social Action, Integration, and Housing (OAIS) is looking for the future Deputy Director of the Supplementary Benefits Service (SPC). With a budget of over 630 million francs per year and nearly 140 staff members, this service pays AVS/AI supplementary benefits to nearly [number removed] retired or disabled persons, as well as aid to older unemployed persons and families. As Deputy Director, you will be in charge of the [division name removed] division.Your main missions will be to:- Support the Director in the management and development of the SPC through analyses, advice, and implementation proposals.- Contribute to the definition of internal strategy and operational and production objectives of the service.- Guarantee the implementation of structures, processes, and production activities allowing the implementation of the various regimes managed by the SPC.- Lead the [division name removed] division and thus contribute to the achievement of the general objective of the SPC.- Ensure the quality of the work environment and the development of skills of your direct and indirect staff, in order to ensure the delivery of sustainable public service.Profile- Master's degree in economic, social sciences, or law, supplemented by a CAS in public administration.- Professional experience of 8 to 10 years in a field useful to the function and in a position of responsibility in the management of social institutions and the social insurance certificate.Specific knowledge and skills- Excellent knowledge of social insurance and Geneva institutions;- Ability to motivate and manage a team, as well as to bring and support change;- Strong capacity for autonomy, sense of service, and responsibility;- Capacity for synthesis, analysis, design, and promotion of public service;- Resistance to stress.Advantages- You will join a public administration whose essential values are respect, integrity, impartiality, and availability; where equality between men and women is guaranteed.
