The La Châtaigneraie campus, located in Founex, offers a unique setting combining historic buildings and state-of-the-art infrastructure, where our team is dedicated as much to academic excellence as to the personal well-being of students.Your role and responsibilitiesPedagogical and Technical Support- Work under the responsibility of the department head and in a team with other technicians.- Prepare equipment and chemical products for Middle Years Programme (MYP) classes.- Support experimental work in class during lessons if necessary.- Collaborate on pedagogical development by testing and optimizing experimental protocols.Management and Maintenance- Maintain, repair, and clean equipment.- Manage stocks, carry out inventories, and perform orders according to school procedures.- Manage the storage and disposal of chemical products in accordance with safety regulations.Safety and Community- Know and enforce the safety standards in force within the school.- Get involved in school life (meetings, community events).Profile soughtSkills and Experience- Scientific diploma, ideally with a specialization in chemistry.- Previous experience as a scientific technician in a school environment.- Excellent skills in French and English (written and spoken).- Proficiency in the Office suite and Google tools.Personal qualities- Ability to work autonomously while having a strong team spirit.- Aptitude to manage stress and priorities in a dynamic environment.- Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly with an adolescent audience.- Rigor, sense of organization, and high level of personal standards.How to applyCandidates are requested to apply online via our recruitment portal, including:- A Curriculum Vitae.- A cover letter addressed to the Campus and Secondary School Principal of La Châtaigneraie.- Contact details for three references (including your current or most recent employer).Please note that only applications via our website will be considered.The International School of Geneva values and encourages diversity within its staff.
