For one of my clients in the North Vaud region (Orbe/Vallorbe area), a modern and friendly dental practice, I am actively seeking a motivated dental assistant wishing to develop within a young and dynamic team.
Dental Assistant with Federal VET Diploma
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a dental assistant or an equivalent qualification
- You have proven experience in a similar position
- You have a thorough knowledge of current hygiene and safety standards
- You enjoy contact with patients and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
- You are dynamic, organised, meticulous and have a strong sense of responsibility
- You have an eye for detail and can manage several tasks simultaneously, even under stress
- You are comfortable with IT tools and able to quickly adapt to specialised software

- Ensure the opening and closing of the practice
- Prepare and sterilise all instruments, equipment and materials necessary for practitioners' interventions
- Welcome patients with kindness and professionalism, schedule appointments
- Create, update and monitor patients' medical records, including anamnesis
- Provide technical assistance to the practitioner(s) (instrument assistant, surgical assistant), anticipating their needs
- Accompany the practitioner during "off-site" activities (e.g. school dental checks)
- Carry out administrative and accounting tasks necessary for the smooth running of the practice (quotes, invoicing, payments, fee notes)
- Coordinate work with dental laboratories
- Manage stock of equipment and consumable products
