Data Collector / flexible part-time / 4 to 20 hours per week
This is a part-time job that fits around your life. Work 4 to 20 hours a week, choosing from three daily shifts between 7:00 and 21:00, Monday to Friday.
At mimic, we build robots that learn new skills directly from you. We're a deep-tech startup in Zurich, backed by leading investors and working on one of the most exciting problems in tech.
As a Data Collector, you'll generate the data that teaches our robots how to move. Wearing our data-capture gloves (have a look here!), you'll perform manual tasks by hand and collect the human demonstrations our models learn from.
We run three shifts a day with flexible start times, Monday to Friday, each 4 hours long. You choose how much you work, from 4 to 20 hours a week:
Morning — start between 7:00 and 9:00 (e.g. 8:00-12:00)
Afternoon — start between 12:00 and 14:00 (e.g. 13:00-17:00)
Evening — start between 16:00 and 17:00 (e.g. 16:00-20:00)
If none of the available slots fit your schedule, we still encourage you to apply. We have some flexibility and can find slots that work.
What you'll do:
Put on our data-capture gloves (see here) and get going: gather rich datasets and help our robots learn directly from human hands.
Collect and label high-quality datasets.
Work with the team to keep data collection running smoothly.
What you bring:
