To strengthen the financial management of the service, the City of Sion is offering a position for a Data Analyst and Accounting M/F activity rate % in the Culture service. The person in charge will ensure the analysis of data from the Culture service to monitor the evolution of the concerned sectors while providing support for budget monitoring and accounting management, particularly through invoice processing, document control, and updating management tools. Responsibilities include holding a Bachelor’s degree in economics or tourism, or equivalent experience; having specific training in database analysis; having experience in accounting, especially in the public sector; being proficient in standard tools; demonstrating acute attention to rigor, precision, and detail; possessing an excellent command of French, both spoken and written, and very good writing skills; having knowledge of another language (German or English) is an advantage; working effectively both autonomously and in a team; and showing an interest in culture is essential.
