Genesupport SA specializes in medical genetic analyses for physicians in Switzerland and is part of the Sonic Switzerland network, a company of the Sonic Healthcare Group.Biomedical Laboratory Technician in Cytogenetics at 100% (Permanent Contract)We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and well-organized biomedical laboratory technician to join our constitutional cytogenetics unit team for our Genesupport site in Lausanne. The ideal candidate has theoretical knowledge and several years of experience in conventional cytogenetics. The candidate holds a degree in biomedical analysis or an equivalent qualification.Tasks- You perform and interpret cytogenetic analyses on lymphocytes, trophoblastic cells, various biopsies, and amniotic fluid cells according to quality assurance procedures.- You apply differential chromosome staining techniques (conventional karyotyping), including metaphase and interphase FISH, for samples and actively participate in the implementation and validation of new methods or equipment, as well as the continuous improvement of existing methods for the various sectors.- You ensure the proper functioning of analytical stations (ordering reagents and equipment, maintenance of analysis instruments, contact with suppliers).- You participate in the management of the quality system, the drafting or correction of procedures, as well as quality messages for the various sectors.- You participate in the organization of unit activities and the training of new staff, and attend daily and weekly meetings.Profile- You hold a degree in biomedical analysis or an equivalent qualification/experience.- You have worked for several years in a medical analysis laboratory under ISO standards and are trained in cell culture and cytogenetics.- You have a team spirit and are a reliable person.- You are a motivated, dynamic person with a strong interest in analysis and development.- You demonstrate rigor, proactivity, a sense of responsibility, versatility, and autonomy.- You have a good command of standard tools (Microsoft Office) and domain-specific tools and have the necessary skills to use new software.We offer- A permanent contract at 100%.- A stimulating, interesting, and varied activity in our laboratory with modern infrastructure.- Good employment conditions and opportunities for internal training and development.- Start date: immediately or by arrangement.ContactsWe invite you to send your complete application file by email. jid6287b51aen jit0518aen jpiy26aen
