Position
The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the efficient movement & storage of JTI products, ensuring that the supply chain operates efficiently & effectively. They provide support analytically and functionally to the Marketing, Sales and Finance community in taking products to market as well as rationalizing the impact of the business in the Trade and to JTI. They lead through continuous analysis that anticipates the business direction and provides foresight into the planning process.
Responsibilities
As the Customer Service & Logistics Manager, you will…
- Lead JTI's portfolio in multicategories via production planning for domestic and imported cigarettes, ensuring sourcing locations meet demand needs for delivery into the market on time, avoiding under/over stocks in inventory & managing shelf-life and supervise the monthly volume forecast planning for the domestic market by considering order patterns, promotions, including all internal and external factors
- Oversee Customer Service levels, which ensure effective sales order-to-cash processes, invoicing and data maintenance as well as manage customer financial positions and credit limit controls together with the Finance Team
- Steer logistics to ensure timely and proper product deliveries to trade and retail customers, including the management of both tax and manufacturing price increase procedures and direct customer account maintenance
- Continuously analyze the sales performance of the Company and customers, identify performance gaps related to product and accounts performance and ensure adequate product inventories in retail
- Advise and collaborate with Finance on inventory, price change, market entry and Free Cash Flow dynamics as well as work closely with relevant stakeholders on write-off calculations, shelf life management & new product launch plans
- Ensure all controls as J-Sox and CH-Sox are constantly monitored and internal as overall regulations are fully compliant with JTI business practices
Requirements
- University degree in M&S, Business/Economics, Supply Chain or equivalent
- Solid experience in Sales/Finance/Supply Chain, preferably in an FMCG company, as well as proven leadership experience are a must
- Fluent in English, a good command of German or French is a plus
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, SAP/Power BI
