Our client is a technological and industrial group (1300 employees) and a world leader in the mechatronic drive systems sector. Partner to a demanding international clientele in the Automotive, Trucks, Medtech sectors, innovation and the development of new technological solutions are strong growth drivers for our partner. In this human-sized group, these applications are designed, developed, industrialised and produced internally. The proximity between teams allows for meeting specific customer needs and reflects a strong commitment to supporting them in their search for added value. This integrated industrial model enables the design and production of actuators and electric motors on two sites located in the border area (Departments 25, 90 and 68).
To strengthen our client’s teams, we are looking for their future:
Customer Quality Engineer M/F
As the privileged contact for customers on all quality aspects, you will play a key role in monitoring, analysing and improving the quality performance of our products, in line with the expectations of the automotive sector.
You will work simultaneously on several projects, each possibly at a different stage. Thus, during the project phase, your main tasks will be as follows:
- Contribute to the development and industrialisation of products (APQP reviews, quality deliverables, PPAP).
- Be the primary contact for customers during validation phases.
- Participate in product/process changes and secure the transition to series production.
Once the product is in series production, you will need to:
- Be the primary quality contact for customers and manage series production issues.
- Drive quality performance (PPM, NCE/NCI, KPI) and lead daily routines (QRQC).
- Handle non-conformities and customer complaints (8D) and follow up on corrective actions.
- Reduce non-quality costs and maintain quality standards/tools in production.
- Prepare and lead audits (customers, VDA 6.3, IATF, internal).
With a higher education in quality management (or equivalent), you have at least 3 to 5 years’ experience in customer quality, ideally in the automotive sector, and are comfortable managing crises in a demanding environment. You are the preferred contact for customers (suppliers, OEMs, manufacturers).
You master the ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards, as well as the core tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, 8D, FMEA, QRQC). You use English daily; German is an asset.
With a strong analytical and synthesis mindset, you work rigorously, anticipate and know how to act cross-functionally. Diplomatic and pedagogical, you know how to convince, unite and stay the course in tense situations, with a strong results orientation. Proactive, you build solutions and action plans within a continuous improvement logic.
