About the job:We are seeking an experienced Corporate Governance Legal Counsel to join a Legal team within a regulated Financial Services environment. This role will focus on advising the business on corporate governance matters, entity management, and regulatory-driven governance requirements across the EU.Corporate Governance Legal CounselAbout the job:Advise on corporate governance matters, including board and committee governance, policies, and frameworksSupport board and senior management with governance-related advice and documentationManage entity governance across EU jurisdictions, including statutory filings and corporate recordsDraft, review, and negotiate governance-related legal documentationProvide legal support on regulatory and compliance-driven governance matters relevant to financial servicesLiaise with external counsel, regulators, and internal stakeholdersMonitor and advise on developments in corporate governance and regulatory requirements impacting the businessAbout the candidate:EU-qualified lawyer5-7 years' post-qualification experience (PQE)Strictly law firm-trained background (applications without law firm experience will not be considered)Proven experience advising Financial Services clients (banking, asset management, investment funds, private credit, insurance, or similar regulated environments)Strong expertise in corporate governance and company lawExcellent drafting and stakeholder management skillsFluent English.
