Your Purpose :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Communications Senior Manager to join our Corporate Communications team based out of the Company’s global headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Reporting into the VP Corporate Communications, the role sits within a larger function led by the Chief Communications Officer (CCO).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in global or European corporate communications, with excellent media relations experience, exceptional writing skills and a strong background in issues & crisis management. This role is pivotal in helping to shape our corporate reputation, ensuring our communications align with our government affairs and company strategy.

Your Impact :
Strategic Communications: Craft and execute comprehensive communication strategies that support our business needs and government affairs objectives. This includes drafting press releases, op-eds, and other public statements.
Content Creation: Produce high-quality written content, including speeches, articles, reports, LinkedIn posts, that effectively communicate our positions and policies.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with our strategic goals.
Media Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets and journalists. Proactively pitch stories and respond to media inquiries to ensure positive coverage of our initiatives.
Monitoring and Analysis: Keep abreast of relevant political developments in Europe and other regions to analyse their impact on our organization. Provide regular updates and strategic advice for senior management.
Leadership Communications: Supports with coordination and logistics of various activities related to the Executive Chairman/CEO and other senior executives to deliver on leadership communications programmes and events.
Support other aspects of the broader Communications function including issues and crisis management and internal communications for senior leadership.

MANDATORY CRITERIA
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in communications.
EU passport holder or right to work in Switzerland.
Native-level English.

OTHER SKILLS USEFUL FOR THE ROLE
Experience working for a global or European organization subject to strict regulations and legislation.
Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science or a related field.
Exceptional writing and editing skills.
Strong understanding of European media, political systems and institutions.
Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with media and stakeholders.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in media relations.
Experience in issues and crisis management.
Production of institutional and strategic content.
Coordination of executive communications and leadership events.
Monitoring political developments in Europe and analysing their impact.
