We are seeking a highly committed and experienced Compliance professional with Latin American background for the position of a Compliance Officer.
Compliance Officer (80-100%)
This role is very broad and requires a generalist with the willingness to handle the entire spectrum of operational and conceptual tasks that are specific to the compliance function of a bank.
Yours responsibilities:
Acting as central point of contact, consultant and expert for all Compliance issues
Monitoring and ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and internal regulations
Executing Compliance audits and controls
Analyzing and clarifying the background of transactions and executing due diligence
Development of policies and procedures, as well as continuous improvement of compliance processes
Advising, supporting and training of employees related to Compliance topics
Implementing regulatory requirements and establishing and evaluating internal directives
Improving current and implementing new IT systems
Requirements:
University degree preferably in Swiss law, economics or business administration
Minimum of 7 years of experience as Compliance Officer in a Bank, ideally in the area Private Banking / Wealth Management
Latin American background with deep understanding of the Latin American Financial market, the US financial system, and the operations of its financial institutions
Persuasive and assertive team player carrying out all professional activities in demanding situations and in a constantly changing environment, with excellent communication and knowledge transfer skills
Excellent command of written and spoken Spanish is a must, fluent in German, English is as an advantage
Analytical thinking and a precise, independent and solution-oriented working style
Experience or interest in new technologies and IT affinity
