Community Care and Health Assistant (ASSC) / Centralised Long-Term Pool (PCLD) / 80-100% / Permanent Contract
Job Description
The centralised long-term pool (PCLD) consists of nurses, community care and health assistants (ASSC), and home helpers. They operate throughout the canton of Geneva to carry out replacements, lasting about ten to twelve months, in our branches. This pool's mission is to ensure continuity and optimal quality of services for our clients.
Your Missions and Responsibilities
- Provide basic care and medical-technical acts delegated by the nurse referent within a holistic client approach
- Promote the increase, recovery, or maintenance of the client's autonomy to enable them to restore, continue, or adapt their lifestyle at home
- Perform practical assistance services respecting the client's lifestyle habits and environment
- Work interdisciplinarily, respecting the institution's mission and objectives
- Assess and reassess practical assistance situations and assume responsibility for them.
Your Profile
- Willingness to diversify experiences across different Geneva sectors, teams, and clienteles
- Enjoys challenges and discoveries
- Federal Certificate of Capacity for ASSC and authorisation to practice in the canton of Geneva
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, attentive listening
- Ability to assess situations and act responsibly
- Resistance to stress and physical work
- Aptitude for autonomous work and interprofessional collaboration within a multidisciplinary team
- Essential mobility (on foot / by bike / by TPG / by car).
