Internship in communication at the Penitentiary Service (SPEN), the intern supports the Head of Communication in the implementation of internal and external communication actions. In a sensitive and constantly evolving institutional environment, the intern contributes to content writing, formatting on the intranet, creating content for public channels, and monitoring communication actions. The intern also participates in the organization of Service activities, the preparation of events or communication actions, and the updating of communication tools. The Vaud Penitentiary Service manages and supervises the Office for the Execution of Sentences and 6 penitentiary establishments under its authority. It ensures the execution of pre-trial and post-trial detention in the canton of Vaud. It contributes to public safety, while supporting the care of detainees with a perspective of prevention and reintegration. The SPEN has 750 employees and staff spread over several sites, who work in a demanding institutional environment, marked by significant human, security, and communication challenges.Responsibilities- Produce and adapt internal communication content (intranet articles, news, and newsletters), ensure their formatting, and contribute to their illustration with simple photos and videos.- Support communication projects through research, content writing, monitoring, and contribution to the communication plan and editorial calendar.- Contribute to the external communication of the Service by writing content for the website and social networks.- Participate in the organization and coordination of communication related to events, by supporting materials, logistics, and taking simple photos for internal use.- Ensure the monitoring and analysis of media coverage and the implementation of reporting processes.For further information, please consult the job description by clicking here or contact the Head of Communication who is at your disposal.Profile- Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, or equivalent.- Excellent writing and synthesis skills.- Interest in institutional, internal, and external communication.- Interest in political issues and knowledge of public institutions.- Critical thinking and decision-making skills.- Internship of 6 months, remunerated.Employment conditions require that you be Swiss or hold a C permit, be exempt from a certificate of non-prosecution (an extract from the Office of Prosecutions must be presented during the process), and your criminal record must be clean.
