The STE also implements the energy policy of the municipality.Do you wish to put your skills at the service of the community?To contribute to the proper functioning of the Civil Engineering unit of its service, the STE of the City of Lancy is looking for a:HEAD OF CIVIL ENGINEERING UNIT_90%Your mission:Ensure the operation of the unit and the teams and contribute to the achievement of the service's objectives, by providing advice, support, and professional expertise to management while supervising the unit's projects.Main activities:- Pilot and coordinate activities and teams to ensure efficient execution of missions within deadlines, while accompanying, supervising, and supporting team leaders and/or staff in the execution of their activities and the development of their skills.- Ensure the management of human resources for the teams, from daily supervision to the development of skills.- Actively contribute to objectives, service projects, and transversal files, by providing professional expertise, advice, and support.- Support the head of service by providing expertise and relaying the realities, needs, challenges, and opportunities of the field, while ensuring efficient processing of requests and follow-up of complaints.- Contribute, alongside the head of service, to the development and monitoring of operating and investment budgets, and pilot the budgets for roads, municipal networks (FIA and non-FIA), and fire extinguishing systems (hydrants), ensuring their optimal use.- Design civil engineering projects (structures, road and hydraulic developments) by integrating sustainability, life cycle, and maintainability issues, while validating calculation hypotheses and consultant fee offers.- Ensure the complete management of projects, from studies to building permits and financial plans, by guaranteeing rigorous monitoring of technical, administrative, and financial aspects, including budgets, expense tracking, variance analysis, and quality control.- Supervise the execution of works by coordinating construction sites, work acceptance, warranty monitoring, and quality control, in compliance with costs, deadlines, and quality requirements.Your profile and skills:- Hold a university degree in civil engineering at the Bachelor level or equivalent.- Justify at least 5 years of professional experience in the same field of activity, particularly in the design of civil engineering structures.- Demonstrate an aptitude for management and team leadership.- Have a strong ability to work in project mode and on several files simultaneously.- Master building permit procedures and AIMP.- Possess an excellent command of French, both oral and written.- Demonstrate ease with common office tools.- Be available occasionally to represent the service during commissions, public meetings, and municipal events, including outside standard working hours.Additional information:- Application deadline: August 30- Start date: October 1- Activity rate: 90%- Employment type: Permanent- Salary class: class 19- Workplace: avenue Eugène Lance 1, Grand-LancyReady to take on new challenges?
