We are at home throughout Europe and always close to our customers.Citrix VDI Engineer (f/m/d)On behalf of our client based in Freiburg, we are looking for a Citrix VDI Engineer responsible for designing, evolving, and industrializing virtualized workstation environments based primarily on Citrix and related technologies.Mission- Design, deploy, and administer Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops infrastructures in shared environments.- Ensure the evolution and maintenance of associated components, including MCS, Workspace, StoreFront, RDS, NetScaler, and monitoring tools.- Manage and improve virtualized Windows Server and Windows 11 environments, as well as profile management mechanisms with WEM.- Participate in the automation and industrialization of workstation management via DevOps and GitOps approaches, ensuring the versioning of scripts and configurations in Git.- Produce and maintain clear and structured documentation, including architecture, procedures, and technical sheets for technical teams.Profile- University degree or equivalent in IT, systems, or networks.- Confirmed to senior experience in engineering and administration of Citrix environments, with expertise in Virtual Apps and Desktops, StoreFront, MCS, Workspace, RDS, and monitoring tools.- Mastery of Windows Server and Windows 11 in a shared environment, as well as the deployment of Microsoft 365 solutions on virtualized platforms.- Solid knowledge of NetScaler, PowerShell, Git, and DevOps-oriented practices and understanding of Nutanix AHV environments, the Prism console, and server cluster management.- Excellent writing skills, team spirit, autonomy, and mastery of French; technical English required, German is an asset.Proposal- Advantageous working conditions: 6 weeks of vacation per year and a pension plan.- Development and enhancement of potential: wide range of training and personal development offered by the Bechtle Academy.- Diversity: interesting and changing tasks in a future-oriented sector.Bechtle Switzerland SABechtle Switzerland SA has certified skills in the fields of: IT Infrastructure, Management, Managed Services, Skills Management, Analytics, Printing Solutions, and E-Commerce.
