Attached to the Vaud Judicial Order, the ten debt enforcement offices in the canton are responsible for the enforcement procedure, from the notification of the payment order to the collection of the debt or the issuance of the act of default of assets. They also maintain various registers and issue extracts.
The Debt Enforcement Office of the Aigle district, which employs nearly 20 staff members, is looking for a chief bailiff of a DEO.
Responsibilities
* Lead a debt enforcement department and contribute to the ongoing training of staff and apprentices.
* Provide assistance and technical support to bailiffs of a DEO for complex cases and files.
* Carry out the necessary enforcement operations to settle debtors' debts and conduct debtor interrogations.
* Execute seizures, sequestrations, and inventories for rents.
* Draft minutes intended for the parties involved in the procedure.
* Manage wage garnishment and movable property sale files.
* Manage real estate files.

Qualifications
Commercial employee federal certificate (CFC)
General training certificate in debt enforcement or possibly modules 1 and 2 with a commitment to obtain module 3.
Six years of professional experience in debt enforcement or bankruptcy.
Team management training or commitment to obtain it.
Conflict management skills, assertiveness.
Public service orientation, very good stress resistance.
Good organisation, initiative, speed, accuracy.
Mastery of spelling and ease with common IT tools.
Driving licence and availability of a private vehicle desired.

As part of the recruitment process, candidates will be required to present an extract from the debt enforcement register and criminal record less than 3 months old.
