Our client is a Geneva-based FMCG international player.

## Job Description ##

The Chief Accountant will be asked to do the following:

\- Coordinate and supervise monthly closing and all general ledger accounts (Swiss/IFRS standars), as well as monthly accounting reviews and reconciliations and taw regulations.

\- Prepare and record closing entries (payroll, leasing IFRS 16, fixed assets, provisions, prepaid expenses)

\- Manage VAT returns and corporate income tax declarations

\- Deliver ad hoc financial analyses and reportings

\- Maintain and update master files and approval matrix

\- Propose and implement process improvements



## The Successful Applicant ##

The candidates for the Chief Accountant should present the following:\*

\- Higher education in Accounting or Master's degree (major in Accounting and/or Finance)

\- 5+ years of experience in general accounting and taxation (VAT, corporate tax), with GL responsibilities in an international environment

\- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS and Swiss GAAP)

\- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Office suite, experience on Microsoft Dynamics preferred

\- English and French mandatory

\- Team spirit, excellent communication skills, dedication
