**SALES MANAGER - MATCHBOX SOLUTIONS  (M/F/D)**

FULLTIME | CHECKPORT ZURICH AIRPORT

START I UPON AGREEMENT




**YOUR MISSION**



In this role you will be representing Matchbox Solutions towards leading aviation industry stakeholders such as DCS providers, IATA, SITA, kiosk and self-service kiosk manufacturers etc. You are acting as the primary ambassador positioning Matchbox as the industry reference for travel document validation.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**



* Drive the commercial rollout and sales of a market-leading airline software solution to international airline customers


* Build and manage long-term senior-level relationships with airlines, aviation IT providers, and strategic industry partners


* Identify new business opportunities and develop a strong sales pipeline across global aviation markets


* Lead customer presentations, product demonstrations, negotiations, and contract closings


* Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to align customer needs with solution development

**YOUR PROFILE**

 

* University degree in business administration, aviation management, information systems or a comparable qualification


* Proven track record in sales or business development within the aviation industry, ideally in Airline-IT or DCS environments


* Strong understanding of airline operations, passenger processing, regulatory frameworks and IATA standards, with experience representing a company in international forums and standardization bodies


* Established professional network across airlines, DCS providers, IATA, SITA and aviation technology partners, with willingness to travel occasionally (up to approx. 20%)


* Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (additional languages are an asset), combined with strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
