What if your commitment made a real difference for our elders? For over 30 years, PRERISA has been dedicated daily to elderly individuals requiring specialized care in advanced age. In a context where the needs related to aging are constantly evolving, it fulfills an essential mission: to offer an adapted living environment that is respectful and safe, where each resident and their family are treated with respect. In Lucens, it encompasses a specialized institution for advanced age (44 beds) as well as a temporary reception center Le Ruisseau (8 places per day). Nearly 60 staff members are passionately and rigorously involved to ensure quality support, grounded in an approach that is both professional, humane, and resolutely focused on the well-being of the residents. Today, the institution is entering an important phase of its development, notably: • The launch of a construction project for a new EMS of approximately 80 beds • The progressive renewal of its Board of Directors • The desire to strengthen its institutional positioning in the region. In this context, PRERISA is seeking its future Chair of the Board. Role As Chair of the Board, you ensure the quality of governance and the proper functioning of the Board. You monitor the coherence of the institution and contribute to carrying a clear vision for its long-term development. You lead the Board meetings, structure the discussions, and promote effective collegial decision-making. In close collaboration with the Executive Management, you ensure clear and constructive communication between the responsibilities of the Board and the management of the institution. Through your commitment and credibility, you also contribute to the institution's visibility among its partners and in its environment. Profile You have confirmed experience in governance roles (Board of Directors or equivalent body) and a good understanding of the financial and human stakes inherent to a subsidized socio-medical institution. Comfortable in analyzing complex issues, you know how to take a step back, structure reflections, and contribute to informed decision-making. You also have experience working with an Executive Management team and understand the necessary balances between governance and management. With a developed political sense and great integrity, you know how to animate governance bodies, structure meetings, and promote effective collegial functioning. Recognized for your rigor, synthesis skills, and sense of responsibility, you are capable of establishing and maintaining a lasting trust relationship with a solid knowledge of the socio-medical sector, health, or non-profit governance. The role notably involves: • Preparing and leading 6 to 8 Board meetings per year • Regular exchanges with the Executive Management • Certain institutional representations. We offer • The opportunity to play a key role in governance and the evolution of an institution committed to serving elderly individuals • The possibility to contribute to a new phase of its institutional development • A position at the heart of a recognized institution within its regional environment.
