On behalf of one of our clients, the OKJOB Geneva agency is looking for a Refrigeration Mechanic with a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC). The required qualifications include AFP and CFC in Refrigeration. Tasks involve work on large industrial structures, refrigerated warehouses, food production facilities, and vehicle fleets with maintenance companies, transporters, and agro-food industries. The role demands quick and accurate interventions on-site while ensuring business continuity. Candidates should be meticulous, methodical, and autonomous, with a strong analytical mindset and diagnostic skills. The ability to work under pressure and manage emergencies is essential, along with a good sense of teamwork. A focus on quality, safety, and reliability in maintaining and troubleshooting refrigeration systems (cold rooms, display cases, compressor units, etc.) is required. Preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial and commercial systems, intervention on refrigerated trucks and isothermal vehicles, and troubleshooting according to safety standards are key responsibilities. Mastery of refrigerants (HFC, CO2, NH3, etc.) and adherence to environmental regulations are necessary. Competence in reading and interpreting plans, electrical diagrams, and refrigeration schematics is expected.
