Description
The CEO’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, and in no particular order:
- Overseeing negotiations with prospective host cities and/or countries for future ISL matches;
- Ensuring the successful organisation of matches, including but not limited to venue and stage set-up, TV production, personnel (athlete, staff and subcontractor) management etc.;
- Coordinating the ISL’s commercial relationship with broadcasters and/or streaming platforms, with the key aim of maximising viewership and engagement in key markets;
- Maximising the revenue derived from the sale of the ISL’s sponsorship inventory – whether through the broadcasting/streaming of match content, or through social media and other related platforms;
- Managing all ISL staff, including but not limited to the staff of the ISL’s constituent clubs and athletes;
- Overseeing the development of the ISL ‘Popular Aquatic League’;
- Overseeing ISL legal matters;
- Becoming the director of the ISL Switzerland entity and fulfilling the responsibilities therein;
- Any other responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the ISL Board.
