Our client, a recognized company in the field of carpentry and timber construction in the canton of Fribourg, is looking for an experienced Carpenter Team Leader to strengthen its team. This company works on varied projects: new constructions, wooden structures, industrial halls, and special works.Responsibilities:As a Team Leader, you play a central role on construction sites:- Management and supervision of a team of 2 to 6 carpenters- Reading and interpretation of plans and site diagrams, distribution of tasks, monitoring of progress- Assembly of wooden structures, traditional carpentry, trusses, prefabricated elements- Ensuring compliance with safety standards (SUVA) and quality standards- Coordination with site management, architects, and other trades- Active participation in manual work when necessary- Training and support for apprentices or new employeesProfile:- CFC in carpentry or equivalent recognized in Switzerland- Confirmed experience as a carpenter and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in team leadership- Mastery of timber construction techniques and modern carpentry tools- Ability to manage a construction site autonomously- Good sense of organization and ability to work in a team- Knowledge of Swiss standards (SIA, SUVA)- Category B driving license essential- Fluent French (any other regional language is an asset)We offer:- A long-term position in a stable and recognized company- A modern, rewarding, and secure work environment- Varied projects with motivating technical challenges- Salary in accordance with the Fribourg market, depending on skills and experience- Possibilities for evolution towards site manager or foreman- Start date: to be agreed (immediately or according to availability)Workplace:Canton of Fribourg and potentially canton of Vaud. jid03c353faen jit0625aen jpiy26aen
