The City of Monthey is announcing the following position, equally accessible to women and men: Building Manager at 100% for the Urban Planning, Buildings & Constructions department. Your missions:- Ensure the general maintenance and upkeep of communal property.- Manage and oversee the technical aspects of communal buildings.- Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders during communal construction projects, manage the phases of work and construction sites, ensure follow-up post-work, and monitor budget compliance.- Establish the annual operating and investment budget for communal buildings in collaboration with the department head.- Prepare and manage maintenance schedules for various techniques in coordination with the head of the central office.- Provide all necessary documentation to the municipal council regarding execution works, budget, closure of construction accounts, etc.- Manage technical personnel and the concierge team in the absence of the responsible managers.- Keep the inventory of buildings up to date and monitor the legal and technical aspects related to their maintenance.Your profile:- Holder of a CFC in building or another technical profession in construction or a federal diploma in property management.- Good knowledge of project management, team management, and budget monitoring.- Good understanding of energy analysis and building remediation.- Familiarity with common tools.- Sense of responsibility, rigor, and precision.- Ease of contact and sense of teamwork, openness, and flexibility.Employment conditions:- According to the personnel regulations and the municipal salary scale.- Start date: June 1 or to be agreed upon.The job description can be consulted with Mr. Richard, assistant to the head of the Urban Planning, Buildings & Constructions department, who is available for any further information.
